DUI Symbolism
The heraldic dance is reminiscent of mountains; the fountain represents water. The fleur-de-lis is emblematic of France. These elements portray the unit’s campaign participation in Europe. The unit’s two assault landings are indicated by the red arrowheads. The green is in reference to the unit’s mission in support of Special Operations.
