SPC Jonn J. Edmunds

A native of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Specialist Jonn J. Edmunds died on 19 October 2001 as a result of a Black Hawk helicopter crash in Pakistan.

Edmunds enlisted in the Army on 20 July 1999 and volunteered for Airborne and Ranger training. On completion of the Ranger Indoctrination Program he was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Fort Benning, Georgia.

SPC Edmunds was serving with 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM at the time of his death.
