A native of Orange Park, Florida, Sergeant Bradley S. Crose was killed by enemy gunfire on 4 March 2002 during Operation ANACONDA at Takur Ghar in Eastern Afghanistan.

Crose joined the Army on 6 June 1998 as an Infantryman. Following his training, he volunteered for Airborne School and was then assigned to 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Hunter Army Airfield, Savannah, Georgia. He was a graduate of the Ranger Course.

SGT Crose was serving as a machine gunner with 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM at the time of his death.
