A native of Fresno, California, Sergeant Regina C. Reali died 23 December 2005 from wounds suffered from an improvised explosive device near Baghdad, Iraq.

Reali enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserve in 2000 as a Civil Affairs Specialist and in March 2001 graduated from the Civil Affairs Specialist Course.

SGT Reali was assigned as a Civil Affairs Specialist in 448th Civil Affairs Battalion, Fort Lewis, Washington, when she died while supporting Operation IRAQI FREEDOM.
