2LT Scott B. Lundell

A native of Hurricane, Utah, Second Lieutenant Scott B. Lundell died on 25 November 2006 in Oruzgan Province, Afghanistan.

After graduating from the University of Utah, Lundell enlisted in the Utah Army National Guard in 2004 and was assigned to the 19th Special Forces Group, Draper, Utah. He was commissioned in 2005 as an Engineer Officer and deployed prior to attending Special Forces training.

Supporting 3rd Special Forces Group, Fort Bragg, North Carolina, during Operation ENDURING FREEDOM, 2LT Lundell was deployed with the I Corps Artillery when he was fatally wounded by enemy small arms fire and rocket propelled grenades.
