A native of Daleville, Alabama, Chief Warrant Officer 5 Jamie D. Weeks died on 14 May 2006 when his AH-6 Little Bird was shot down during combat operations in Yusufiyah, Iraq.

Weeks enlisted in the Army in 1980 as an Air Traffic Controller. In 1983, he completed Warrant Officer Candidate School and flight training as an AH-1 Cobra Attack Helicopter Pilot. He completed Green Platoon and was assigned to the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, Fort Campbell, Kentucky, in 1993.

CW5 Weeks was serving with 1st Battalion, 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, Fort Campbell, Kentucky, when he died during Operation IRAQI FREEDOM.
