A longtime resident of Glen Burnie, Maryland, Sergeant First Class Bradley S. Bohle was killed on 16 September 2009 in Ghur Ghuri, Afghanistan, when his vehicle was struck by an Improvised Explosive Device. He was supporting Operation ENDURING FREEDOM.

Bohle enlisted in the Army in 1998 as an Information Systems Operator. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 8th Infantry Regiment, Fort Hood, Texas. He later served with 112th Signal Battalion and 4th Psychological Operations Group, both at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He graduated from the Special Forces Qualification Course in March 2008 and made two deployments in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM-PHILIPPINES.

SFC Bohle was assigned as a Medical Sergeant to 3rd Battalion, 7th Special Forces Group, Fort Bragg, North Carolina, when he was killed.
